This company continuously says “We want to be one of the best places to work not just in NY, but in the country”. There are quite a few things ACV does well. ACV is great at burning out their employees. They expect them to be available 24/7, the CEO asks for huge projects to be completed the night before they are due, then doesn’t give credit. They advertise a “generous PTO policy”, but expect to be on call and available anytime you are away or ill. They do a great job praising and promoting their mediocre employees, while working others to the bone without reward or recognition. ACV is great at acquiring companies. Not quite sure if or what upside there has been to any of their acquisitions, other than bringing more middle aged white men into the organization, but they sure are good at bringing them in. They are great at over promising and under delivering. They’ll hire you preaching how competitive their compensation packages are and once you ask about that raise or promotion, they’ll tell you “it’s coming soon,” but it never comes. They are great at losing employees. They have lost some of their best employees over the last year and I guarantee more will be leaving soon. They also are doing great in the stock market! Oh wait…
