Pros
Fair base salary. Good people on the hiring team. The CEO really seems to care.
Cons
I can only fairly comment on the Territory Manager roll and the management within my region. Here's the reality and what they don't tell you. The goal structure is unattainable after 6-8 months. There is no such thing as an 8-5 work day. I was told in order to be successful, you must run auctions in the evening, sometimes until 9:00 at night. You are constantly on your phone trying to hand sell vehicles throughout the day and evening. You will constantly be pulling over or texting while driving to respond to messages. This is not a job where you can put your phone down at the end of the day. Base compensation is quite fair but obtaining sales goals which increase by 20 sold units each month is unrealistic. Unless you have a windfall dealer, its EXTREMELY difficult to make goal and commission. This creates a lot of turnover for Territory Managers. Just look at all the openings. That should tell you something. I cannot in good faith honestly recommend a Territory Management position at ACV at this time. Hopefully they can get this figured out soon.
