Pros

Easy onboarding For my department, it was a very smooth onboarding experience with clearly structured videos and trainings. As with any onboarding, it is tedious and you don't necessarily retain all of it but I understand why it's required. Decent salary Can confidently say that they will absolutely negotiate pay and will even work with you to find a salary that fits expectations. WFH As someone who has become accustomed to working from home, the flexibility is appreciated and welcomed. The company does like to see teams get together in person and encourages in-person meetings but seems to understand there are limitations.

Cons

Outdated systems Honestly, a pretty bad CRM system is being used but they are implementing a better one now so can't be too upset about it. Poor organization of centralized saved files Biggest complaint by far is how erratically centralized files are saved such as examples of emails/ outreach, access to other markets' files, or the outdated statistics and company info. There is no rhyme or reason for where important documents are saved and how to access them.

Pros

- Positive and friendly team - Strong management - Employees are incredibly smart and hardworking. Everyone works together for the success of the mission. - Mission is amazing and it feels good to support those who are fighting diabetes.

Cons

- As with many nonprofits, there are never enough resources. We're always making due with what we can, - Because we are a large org, sometimes it's difficult to maintain communications across departments.

Thanks for taking time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoy your colleagues and the flexibility in how we work – those are important parts of our culture. We also appreciate your comments about leadership turnover and compensation. Changes in leadership can create uncertainty, while at the same time, often reflect the caliber of talent and successful development of our team. We’re very proud that two organizational leaders recently became CEOs of other highly respected nonprofits. Clear communication and transition support are important to us, and we’ll also continue to focus on developing and attracting strong leaders and providing an environment where employees feel informed, valued, and connected to our mission. On compensation, we know pay is an important part of your experience. We work to offer a competitive total rewards package within the nonprofit sector, which also includes comprehensive benefits, professional development, and the flexibility you pointed out. We continually review our compensation and benefits programs to ensure they remain thoughtful and responsive to our employees’ needs. We appreciate your thoughts and wish you continued success at the ADA.
