Pros
-Great mission -Many employees are passionate about their work -ADA was a respected name for a long time
Cons
-Absurdly high turnover at every level. -The CEO is shady. She has brought in her cronies, pays herself and them much more than anyone else at the organization (where employees have worked years without raises and are laughed at when they ask for a COLA). And she lies constantly. -Tracey insists on hiring outside consultants for EVERYTHING, including work ADA staff is already doing. This duplication is a waste of time and money. -Tracey thinks everyone on staff should be fundraisers--even when that role is in direct conflict with the legal obligations of their jobs. No accountability for the ACTUAL fundraisers when ADA is several million behind budget for 2019. -Layoffs will happen soon. Tracey claims she "does not do layoffs" and but two entire departments have been eliminated since she started 18 months ago. She claims these are not layoffs but are "strategic." Hey Tracey: if they can apply for unemployment, THEY WERE LAID OFF. Stop lying to your employees. -Morale is so bad. The culture is at an all-time low and every single employee is looking for their way out before the ADA ship sinks (which it will do if Tracey is allowed to continue working there). I have never worked anywhere else where people quit WITHOUT ANOTHER JOB LINED UP.
