Pros

Great mission and flexible work arrangements

Cons

- Firing 30% of your most junior employees in the middle of a pandemic is unbecoming for any leadership team, but for ADA that is how they protect their own salaries. Shame on you ADA, shame on you Tracey! - You wonder if the leadership team took any pay cuts, or even bothered to use Federal assistance to protect their workforce. - Leaders who can only talk but never stick up for doing what's right. - Without the people the mission will suffer greatly, this downward spiral will end the ADA soon. Good luck to those who still have jobs and have to suffer under this horrible leadership. Just remember the next wave of layoffs is coming, so prepare yourself! - Gutless board who act like chicken and go from bad to worse CEOs each time.

Pros

- Positive and friendly team - Strong management - Employees are incredibly smart and hardworking. Everyone works together for the success of the mission. - Mission is amazing and it feels good to support those who are fighting diabetes.

Cons

- As with many nonprofits, there are never enough resources. We're always making due with what we can, - Because we are a large org, sometimes it's difficult to maintain communications across departments.

Pros

Easy onboarding For my department, it was a very smooth onboarding experience with clearly structured videos and trainings. As with any onboarding, it is tedious and you don't necessarily retain all of it but I understand why it's required. Decent salary Can confidently say that they will absolutely negotiate pay and will even work with you to find a salary that fits expectations. WFH As someone who has become accustomed to working from home, the flexibility is appreciated and welcomed. The company does like to see teams get together in person and encourages in-person meetings but seems to understand there are limitations.

Cons

Outdated systems Honestly, a pretty bad CRM system is being used but they are implementing a better one now so can't be too upset about it. Poor organization of centralized saved files Biggest complaint by far is how erratically centralized files are saved such as examples of emails/ outreach, access to other markets' files, or the outdated statistics and company info. There is no rhyme or reason for where important documents are saved and how to access them.
