Cons

the previous CEO Tracey Brown gutted this org to the core and left it dying. here sycophants still fumbling around to get it right. years of mis-management by the toxic CEO has degraded employee morale so much its hard to recover

Pros

- Positive and friendly team - Strong management - Employees are incredibly smart and hardworking. Everyone works together for the success of the mission. - Mission is amazing and it feels good to support those who are fighting diabetes.

Cons

- As with many nonprofits, there are never enough resources. We're always making due with what we can, - Because we are a large org, sometimes it's difficult to maintain communications across departments.

Pros

Easy onboarding For my department, it was a very smooth onboarding experience with clearly structured videos and trainings. As with any onboarding, it is tedious and you don't necessarily retain all of it but I understand why it's required. Decent salary Can confidently say that they will absolutely negotiate pay and will even work with you to find a salary that fits expectations. WFH As someone who has become accustomed to working from home, the flexibility is appreciated and welcomed. The company does like to see teams get together in person and encourages in-person meetings but seems to understand there are limitations.

Cons

Outdated systems Honestly, a pretty bad CRM system is being used but they are implementing a better one now so can't be too upset about it. Poor organization of centralized saved files Biggest complaint by far is how erratically centralized files are saved such as examples of emails/ outreach, access to other markets' files, or the outdated statistics and company info. There is no rhyme or reason for where important documents are saved and how to access them.
