Pros
Work-life balance, remote, travel is optional, some management is appreciative of their staff, good benefits.
Cons
No room for growth, the path to promotion relies on overworked upper management to file documentation. Very understaffed. Employees are promoted based on a need to fill a spot instead of putting the best candidate in. Staff is hired in departments where they lack significant knowledge in their field. Too often vendors and contractors are hired for what internal staff is fully capable of, so money is often wasted. Your work relies on others to do theirs, but there are no repercussions for if they don't. Massive meetings, you will often have a meeting to then have another three meetings all talking about the same one thing. Org is very top heavy with manager titles never managing anyone and often are not capable of even managing projects, or their own time. Poor pay.
