Pros
I've been at BVI a little over two years and it's exactly what I signed up for. Entrepreneurial, fast paced, building teams and implementing strategy. BVI has been very refreshing after leaving one of the "big 3" in OPH. People listen here, accept new ideas and are open to be challenged on the existing way of doing business. It's been a while since I've felt so supported and empowered. Very thankful that I took the leap and joined the team.
Cons
If you are more comfortable working in a very process driven, SOP/highly structured environment, you might feel unbalanced. There is a lot of building as you go and being in the drivers seat to help our team drive efficiency and transparency. If you thrive in an environment with high autonomy and discretion to make things happen, you will do great.
