If your a competent employee there is opportunity here to grow at this firm. They are in dire need of quality people.
Cons
These people under staff each project they get with the next man up mentality no matter the work experience of the next individual. There is no real training or mentoring of the next group of project staffers. They have lost almost every proven veteran employee due to lack of communication and Sr manager engagement/support. Under staffing the projects leads to safety / quality and employee burn out something these guys claim is not part of the culture. Unfortunately it's just lip service they want to work you to death, only the bottom line matters here. Why do you think there is such employee turnover here the numbers are staggering?? The Oakland office really has no regional leader who is engaged with the project staff's and real project issues. The project executive team at this company is an embarrassment.
