Pros
-Great colleagues (non managers). -Discount card (I hate boots so much I go to superdrug though, its cheaper anyway)
Cons
-Never enough staff in pharmacy so we get yelled at by customers who need their prescriptions -Idiots who shouldn't be managers are, I've had new managers about every 6 months ranging from incompetent, cold, two-faced and uncaring to arrogant and rude. Current manager is nice but he is probably too nice to be a manager. -Incredibly unhappy but no one seems to care. -Pay always incorrect. -Slow systems that don't work. -Badly designed driver delivery service that does not work for anyone. -Was expected to do dispensary training in my own time. -Am expected to stay later than I am getting paid for to cash up, 20-30 minutes per evening over 5 days is quite a lot of money. -Area managers have unrealistic targets -When area managers are known to be visiting there is a big panic to make everything tidy which is unrealistic so the area managers don't really know what is going on. -Take on more work in care home services but then don't take on extra staff, so staff are pushed to their limit. -A computer works out how many hours are needed in the store, which is definitely wrong. -Uniform is white, stores are dirty so uniforms don't stay white for long. -No progression.
