- The management cannot distinguish between their world class devs who contribute and keep teams working and the devs who barely do any work
- There is no incentive to do things the right way, people who do things the right way and people who hack things around are considered the same
- Developers are often blamed for Business Analyst shortcomings and for failed process especially when the customer complains about a feature not being what they expected even though the developer built it according to requirements that were written by BA and tested by a QA
- Developers are not included in the feature decisions and features end up being complicated to build in the product
- High turn over rate and bad project transition between developers
- Technical team leads are not really technical. They have one or two who know their stuff and others who are just leads because they had a friend in the management team
- The management seems to be giving random number at the end of the year for performance like some of my friends who were doing the heavy lifting were getting 3/5 when they deserved 5 or 4.5 at the very least
- The feedback is not constructive, is either you are on the verge of being fired or you are doing amazing. The transition from amazing work to being fired is quick depending on a simple customer complain hence no trust in developers.
- The salary is a joke. they want you to put work in, extra time and evenings without extra compensation. They say their salaries are competitive but that's a lie. They are way below average for developers at least
