Pros

Supportive coworkers who help each other, team tries hard to make things work despite challenges

Cons

Benefits are weak and not competitive, CEO micromanages excessively and derails meetings, decisions revolve around one person which slows everything down, no real autonomy, leadership reacts poorly to feedback, constant inefficiency and shifting priorities, culture discourages speaking up

Pros

I appreciate the quality of the published books we provide, which I feel sometimes don't receive enough recognition. These books are not only beneficial for educators but are also visually appealing.

Cons

Workdays can be busy here but with supportive and friendly people around, it could be really fun.

Pros

CRS is an interesting company. You will meet wonderful people who care about making a positive difference in the world.

Cons

However, there are many issues with company. There is a lack of clarity from leadership which will have you bouncing around in various directions ultimately hurting growth. There are zero promotions so be proud of the position you are hired for. Pay is lower due to being a non profit. Do not expect getting a raise. Overall, as you empower students, you (as a staff member) will not feel empowered.
