Pros

CRS is an interesting company. You will meet wonderful people who care about making a positive difference in the world.

Cons

However, there are many issues with company. There is a lack of clarity from leadership which will have you bouncing around in various directions ultimately hurting growth. There are zero promotions so be proud of the position you are hired for. Pay is lower due to being a non profit. Do not expect getting a raise. Overall, as you empower students, you (as a staff member) will not feel empowered.

Pros

I appreciate the quality of the published books we provide, which I feel sometimes don't receive enough recognition. These books are not only beneficial for educators but are also visually appealing.

Cons

Workdays can be busy here but with supportive and friendly people around, it could be really fun.

Pros

zero pros absolutly zeroooo. nothing!

Cons

The organization is managed by CEO Lora Hodges as a personal fiefdom rather than a professional entity. Operational stability is non-existent, as processes are dictated by the CEO’s frequent mood swings and volatile temperament, which occasionally includes verbal aggression (yelling) toward staff. There is a severe lack of professional integrity regarding personnel advancement. A recent example involves a staff member hired only four months ago being promoted to Director of Finance based on performative "buttering up" and the use of sophisticated financial jargon to manipulate the CEO’s perception, despite a total lack of technical proficiency or professionalism. This individual avoids all complex tasks, delegating essential responsibilities to colleagues while maintaining their position through personal proximity to the CEO. New employees are unfairly expected to resolve years of systemic "mess" within their first week, with all existing failures blamed on them immediately.
