Pros
Camaraderie between coworkers - everyone is honest about their feelings within the office. Free coffee/tea and snacks in breakroom, occasional pizza parties. You'll learn a lot very quickly (because you have to). Good mission, interesting company projects.
Cons
Return to office culture (only certain departments are allowed to be remote), No work/life balance, especially for upper management. CEO doesn't care about employee mental or physical health - if you go on medical leave you'll be fired soon after. Some benefits were taken away - PTO was reduced and resets every fiscal year so planning vacation and using sick time is a nightmare. Rare raises for cost of living. Rare that you'll get a bump in pay/raise, even for an increase in duties. Can't negotiate salary. CEO makes decisions arbitrarily and picks favorites - she has a hot/cold demeanor and if you make a mistake or she decides she doesn't like you anymore, she'll pull you into an office to scream at you behind closed doors which is terrible for employee morale.
