Pros

Pay was ok and some people I worked with were not awful.

Cons

Toxic culture. Just read the responses they have to their bad reviews and they tell you everything you need to know.

Centivo does value all feedback, whether positive or constructive, as it causes us to reflect on how to get better and things we do need to fix. As I have shared with others who have posted critical reviews, our semiannual engagement survey, which we recently just completed, serves as a crucial platform for our employees to share their insights anonymously. In addition, this past summer, we conducted 12 focus groups where team members could share feedback directly with Ashok our CEO. We encourage team members to participate in such surveys and focus groups to help us identify areas that require attention and improvement. I have not to date heard anything of a similar nature in response to our engagement survey, in our focus groups or expressed directly to any member of management. I do wish your experience with Centivo better matched your expectations. If you wish to have a direct conversation with me, a member of our leadership team, or a member of our People Team to provide further feedback, please don't hesitate to reach out directly. Since others do read these, I do want to correct some factual statements: 1. There are many in the organization that tried to work with you to accommodate your requests. When we consider those efforts alongside our high engagement results, we don’t feel that is consistent with having a toxic culture. 2. And personally, as the person that writes these comments myself, I've reviewed my past comments and stand behind them as accurate.

Thank you for your feedback! We're so glad to hear Centivo offers the type of culture and work life balance you value. We are continuously working to improve our communication and have recently held Employee Engagement Focus Groups to do just that. This year we will be launching an all company Intranet which should increase visibility of the key initiatives for all departments and our progress towards them.

Pros

Competitive benefits. Fully remote work environment with good work-life flexibility. Opportunity to gain leadership experience in health insurance operations. Collaborative coworkers who were willing to help one another. Fast-paced environment where you can learn a lot in a short amount of time.

Cons

As a growing company, many processes were still evolving, which sometimes created confusion and inconsistency. Communication between departments could be improved, especially when new employer groups or process changes were introduced. Some teams lacked the tools or resources needed to work as efficiently as possible. Organizational changes and business priorities shifted frequently, creating uncertainty for employees. Advancement opportunities were somewhat limited depending on department and business needs. Overall, I enjoyed the experience I gained and the relationships I built. However, there were growing pains that affected day-to-day operations and long-term stability. If you're someone who enjoys working in a startup-like environment and can adapt to constant change, it can be a good place to build your skills. If you prefer well-established processes and long-term organizational stability, it may be more challenging.
