Pros

The company took the painters to a water park once. That was pretty nice.

Cons

While technically not a pyramid scheme, there are painters, and their managers (“interns”), both of which are made up of solely undergrad college students. The former is responsible for most of the physical work, while the latter is generally responsible for dealing with the business end of things and finding home owners to shell out exorbitant amounts of money for inexperienced work. Above the bottom two rungs we find the permanent management at the company. There may be several levels to this as well, I never interacted with anyone from the actual company while working there, and makes me very suspect as to what they’re really doing.

We’re sorry your experience felt that way. Many find the structure challenging but walk away with real skills and strong results.

Pros

Learn a TON, pretty good money, and everyone is super supportive.

Cons

It's not an easy job, so if that's what you're after, you're going to struggle. Don't expect to make good money if you don't work hard for it. It is worth it if you actually try your best.

This is the kind of growth we work to create for every student who joins us. You jumped in ready to work, picked up real skills, and found a team that has your back. The effort you put in is what makes the difference, and you clearly get that. Give it your all and this will take you far past the internship itself.

Pros

They are no pros to working here.

Cons

These people are awful. Worked here 10 years ago and I still think about how bad it was. First off they manipulated me into taking the job and then when I got there I was feeling pretty paranoid and sketched out by their behavior. By the end of the first training they were openly picking on me because I wasn’t participating. From that point on I had lost any trust in the staff as they were making everything about me. Some kind of bullying campaign was being done against me. They were putting stuff in my food and water to mess with me. The second training the Vp was talking about how much he hated me using indirect terms. Such as “I hate PowerPoint” but he was referring to me. In hindsight I should have just left and quit but I guess I didn’t want to just let them win. In the end they quit on me and basically went against their company values such as relationships are everything (didn’t talk to me), results matter (less time focused on me would have gotten results) , and never give up ( I never quit but they did).
