Pros

Pros? Front row seats in learning what NOT to do as a company leader.

Cons

Cons? You probably read about the recent layoffs so no point highlighting that screwup as there are dozens of others to mention. I'll keep the list down to the top 2 reasons this company is failing. While the company's failure started the moment it formed with the junior team of founders that have zero experience being leaders but recently accelerated their death spiral further with the hiring of the most recent CEO (4th one now?). He has zero ability to lead, learn, nor inspire the organization. The second biggest cause of failure for this company is the the CTO who is vastly under qualified and is only in his position as he was one of the original cofounders. He should've stepped down a LONG time ago and let someone competent take over.

Pros

Working at EZ Texting has been a positive and rewarding experience for me. I appreciate the respectful treatment of employees and cross-functional collaboration to achieve our goals. I feel fully supported in my role. The company prioritizes the well-being of employees and promotes a healthy work-life balance. Overall, I'm grateful to be part of such a wonderful team.

Cons

No cons. The company encourages transparency and is quick to find solutions or remove blockers that may come up.

Pros

The best part is the people (everyone is nice and very capable at their job). Lots of autonomy (opportunity to own your deliverables end to end), and a modern tech stack.

Cons

Biggest issue is job security (regular layoffs and sudden firings). No 401k matching, growth is limited by small teams, and there's a lack of strategic direction from leadership.
