Pros
- Good work from home policy.
Cons
- Regular redundancy rounds (roughly every 6–12 months) created a lot of uncertainty. It was especially frustrating to see people made redundant, only for similar roles to be filled not long afterwards. - The culture felt quite forced at times, with a very American 'always happy' corporate vibe. Meetings often started by reading out the company's '10 Commandments' or core principles, which made the culture feel more performative than genuine. - Recognition often seemed to go to the loudest voices in the room rather than the people quietly delivering great work. - Technical leadership lacked a clear vision, and priorities often felt unclear or changed frequently. - There were a lot of senior leaders and directors, which sometimes resulted in unnecessary layers of management and slower decision-making. - It could be a very political environment, where navigating internal dynamics sometimes mattered as much as the work itself. - Big focus on US defence contracts :(
