Your one and only job is to do your own research. They pay you based on how many reports you finish. People work overtime to earn more.
Cons
Low base salary. Zero social. Repetitive work. Cost cutting mode always.
Exiger Response

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your several years with Exiger. We’re glad you value the research-focused nature of the work, and we appreciate your candid comments on compensation, workload structure, and workplace experience. These insights are important as we continue to evaluate how to improve support, connection, and overall employee engagement.
Exiger is a great place to gain public records research experience, and each business unit is pretty close knit so it is an overall positive work environment too. It has a more start-up feel but with the job security and benefits of an established firm. They subsidize health insurance in the US as well, which is a major benefit.
Cons
Not big on promotions/raises. Many lower level employees use it to gain experience since they stall out after two or three years due to the smaller size of some business units, and since Exiger does not seem to give substantial raises without promotions.
Very toxic work culture in the DD team. Not a friendly environment to work in, and generally not an inspiring place. Your only career growth potential is to become a manager.
