Pros
Exiger is a new company, and growing rapidly. It feels like a good place where clever and ambitious people can carve out a niche for themselves. Supervisors don't tend to micromanage, once an employee demonstrates competence. There are often very nice international travel perks. The Exiger office is practically on top of Silver Spring Metro station, on the Red Line, and a very casual workplace. There's no clock-punching. The Silver Spring office is a relatively horizontal organization as far as hierarchy. Execs from New York only occasionally visit. I won't argue that the negative reviewers' experiences are true, but my experience at Exiger has been positive. The company has a bright future, and seems very secure as far as employment.
Cons
Standards and practices at Exiger are very much in flux. It's the startup feel again - things are constantly being refined and reworked, making expectations unclear. Pay is rather low, and a source of employee resentment. The writing is dull and heavily template-based. It's a deadline-intense workspace, and people can get stressed out.
