Pros
Many job opportunities. Room to move to other specialties. Once you make it to a managerial position, you're set for life. You'll ALWAYS have a job no matter what you do to your employees.
Cons
Nurses are clique-y. If you're new and not a nurse, forget it. You won't fit in. If you bring a complaint to HR about your boss, HR will ALWAYS take their side; even when there are witnesses to sexual harassment. Employees are afraid to come forward due to fear of losing their jobs. HR does NOT support their employees, only the managers.
