1. Feedback loops to management don't seem to spur change; client volume worldwide is too high for there to be time to devote to other parts of the business. Not a great model and overloads the Support team.
2. Toxic positivity; don't paint a picture of something being good when it isn't. There are things that suck about a job. It's okay to say so. Not every change is exciting.
3. Faulty strategy for North America sales which led to hiring too quickly and resulted in eventual layoffs. More communication about the layoffs as well (as to why)
4. Not a well-oiled operation when it comes to communication around benefits/healthcare. The Benefits Coordinator for the US isn't a good person for the job and the rest of the HR team has been told this on a few occasions.
5. Many, many items about the software itself are ancient. Doing body work on a car only changes the color. Your clients eventually figure out that there are combustion problems with the engine.
