Pros
Overall, Little Leaves has been a good place to learn and grow as a BCBA. I appreciate working full-time in a center environment where there is constant supervision of clients and staff. You have the ability to create your own schedule throughout the day with guidelines for the amount of client-facing hours that are expected within a given week (i.e., 5 client-facing hours per day and 10% supervision per client). There is a bonus structure in place for meeting 95% of your client-facing hours within a quarter (i.e., 285 hours across 3 months). BCBAs are expected to be in the center from 8:10-4:30. PTO is "unlimited" but there are some parameters related to having enough staff in the building and meeting your client-facing hours. CEU events are typically offered monthly.
Cons
In general, there are opportunities to receive support and supervision from a more senior staff member. The quality of this supervision varies and is not always consistently scheduled. Policies and procedures are changed frequently by the off-site central clinical team with messy roll-outs of these new procedures. Professional development opportunities in the form of attending conferences or publishing research are limited.
