Pros
When working there you are guaranteed 30 hours a week. It is center-based so you don’t have to travel from client to client and you don’t have to worry about support for behavior management and materials needed for your center.
Cons
The center director and office manager micromanage a lot with multiple meetings and check-ups, and constant changes in policies. The OM is always swinging the doors open and never walks in or says anything (that messes with my nerves). The schedule is also very rigid. You aren’t allowed to request time off less than 4 weeks in advance however, they can change your schedule at least 5 times a week and on the day of too. This is not the type of job for anyone who is in school and can’t take night classes, has to take time off for doctor appointments, and other life responsibilities.
