Pros
-Comprehensive training with high-level staff ensured I felt ready to do the job. -The new Director of the center was very kind and invested. -Paired new staff with a mentor whom you shadowed until you felt comfortable being on your own.
Cons
-Extremely high turnover rate (3 people quit in a month or less when I started). -Expected to take constant behavioral data while also delivering treatment and working with children simultaneously. -Very demanding job, I had worked as a BHT previously, and this still did not prepare me enough for this job.
