Pros

- Good PTO policies - Great People

Cons

- LogRocket has multiple competitors who are far bigger and superior to them. It is tough to compete. - The company refuses to hire to fill gaps. Some people are working jobs meant for 3 people. The work never ends. It can take hours to get an answer from someone for an urgent task. The workloads are not realistic and meant for multiple people. Burnout is very real but the job market is so bad that nobody leaves. The workload provides "opportunities to excel". I'd rather have any resemblance of work/life balance. - the company politics are extremely liberal leaning -LGBTQ donations, pro abortion magnets in the office, etc. - Incompetent leadership and everyone is trying to figure out things as they go. No direction from anybody. no seasoned business professionals anywhere in the company. Mostly young people (which is why I said the people are good. it is a fun group of people outside of work) winging it. But at some point you need some help from people who have been there and done it. - no repeatable processes. every situation requires asking multiple people for help (which can be a problem when everyone is drowning in work). we have managers still cold-calling to book meetings (because we are desperate) and executives helping fix engineering issues. These people should be focused on leading, not doing the work of an IC. - there is no standard career ladder. you will only be promoted if someone leaves and there is literally nobody else available to do the work. Some reps have been hitting quota for years straight and get a "team lead" slapped on to their title as a reward. - it feels like they are so desperate to keep margins somewhat positive that they ignore the significant outcries of employees for help. they can't afford to hire anyone else. no matter how clear you make it that you need help. competition is taking our lunch. don't work here. - you will also be underpaid along with no 401k match and poor health benefits.

Pros

A technically advanced product that customers enjoy using. Great efforts and financial incentives put into place to advance workplace attendance. Incredibly talented co-workers with impressive backgrounds and resumes. Strong online presence and brand awareness.

Cons

Slow growth in a landscape where much larger competitors are able to leverage their pricing power by bundling inferior alternatives at low costs as a tradeoff. While continuing to grow quarter over quarter, they are not creating enough of a separation for when a much larger competitor decides to focus on this offering and surpasses LogRocket quickly. While the bigger players are not paying attention to them, this is the time to accelerate growth. Not enough employees in a leadership position at the Director level. Due to the lack of leadership, the C-Suite becomes very hands on and in the weeds for each and every deal when their time could be better utilized for strategic initiatives and overseeing the direction of the company. It feels that some of the tasks they work on would be best relegated for a Director or Sr. Manager. For a company of this head count, age and revenue I'd also expect a CFO to be in place to navigate some of the most critical decisions of the company. No 401k match and below market compensation as they tout their equity being more generous to offset the guaranteed compensation. Lack of ethnic diversity, but a known issue they are working on improving. The company offers attendance incentives of several hundreds of dollars per month and catered lunches and snacks but still struggles to attract people to the office which is a telling sign.
