I can attest that Lose It was once 5-star worthy.
There is little career development opportunities and no clear path of advancement. Recent promotions reflect that the company is making effort to revert the company back to its “flat” structure, which only draws a steeper divide in the company dynamic.
Hiring people with different perspectives and not being receptive to their ideas does not create the inclusive environment we claim to have. Many seem to have a hard time coming to terms with the reality of what the company is becoming and are refusing to acknowledge that there is a problem. Given that there has been a track-record of gatekeeping, and the lack of ability to retain employees, Lose It needs be proactive about making real progress.
I do not believe that anyone at the company has malicious intentions but can easily see how past events can influence their negative reputation. I have hope that the new CEO will move Lose It in the right direction but it needs to happen sooner rather than later. If the company continues to NOT take action, there will be more employee turnovers.
