A lot of our challenges stem from being a company that's transitioned from ~12 very tight-knit colleagues into a larger company. We've been working to grow up, keeping the good parts of those early years and counter-acting the negative things that may slip in and impact our current operations.
- When we were a smaller company, I think the average employee worked harder than they do now
- We need to continue to get better at onboarding new employees to make them feel more integrated more quickly
- We need to remove any "clique culture" and make sure we're aware of and working to address our faults
- I find it frustrating when I'm working hard and others with less work to do gather in our social area for a drink mid-afternoon
