Great place to work, friendly employees. Does not pay the best - Teller I Michigan State University Federal Credit Union Employee Review

Pros

The benefits are fantastic. 200% 401k match up to 5% of your salary. Great health insurance. Always doing fun promotions and competitions for employees. The company does a great job trying to keep employee morale high.

Cons

The pay is less than ideal for a college graduate. A lot of positions require work on Saturdays. The work can be tedious, dealing with members all day.

Pros

Working at MSUFCU has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The work is fast-paced, innovative, and always evolving which keeps every day exciting. Leadership is forward thinking and truly invests in employees through AMAZING benefits, education and growth opportunities, and a strong focus on work-life balance. Having an onsite cafe at the headquarters, a workout facility and coworkers who genuinely feel like family make it an even better place to work. I hope to retire from here as it's the best job that I've had.

Cons

fast-paced with new projects all the time

Pros

Amazing co workers, great benefits, inclusive workplace for those with disabilities

Cons

You will only have a good experience if you get into specific areas of the credit union. Other places will burn you out and ruin your mental health completely no matter how much you communicate with management. Pay raises are small and it is almost impossible to get a raise outside of the yearly. And getting a promotion is even more difficult.
