Pros

Working at MSUFCU has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The work is fast-paced, innovative, and always evolving which keeps every day exciting. Leadership is forward thinking and truly invests in employees through AMAZING benefits, education and growth opportunities, and a strong focus on work-life balance. Having an onsite cafe at the headquarters, a workout facility and coworkers who genuinely feel like family make it an even better place to work. I hope to retire from here as it's the best job that I've had.

Cons

fast-paced with new projects all the time

Pros

Supportive, team-oriented culture company-wide. Middling pay compared to similar roles in other organizations but benefits are top-tier.

Cons

Recent re-structuring of customer-facing roles to support “specialization” across back-office departments kind of killed the great progression system they had, especially for branch employees.

Pros

Free healthcare, cheap swag, remote work

Cons

During my time with the company, I experienced two major personal life events that significantly impacted my mental and emotional well-being. When I was hired, the culture was presented as supportive and welcoming, but that was not my experience when I needed understanding the most. Although I continued to meet performance metrics in several areas, I struggled with focus and made mistakes during an extremely difficult period in my life. Rather than offering meaningful support, guidance, or resources to help me recover and improve, the decision was ultimately made to terminate my employment. What disappointed me most was the lack of compassion and communication from leadership and my team throughout that process. I was open about what I was dealing with, yet I often felt isolated instead of supported. Employees facing difficult personal circumstances deserve accountability and feedback, but they also deserve empathy and an opportunity to succeed.
