Pros

This was a great college job to get me through. I was able to work evenings and even get premium pay for it! The upper-level management is STELLAR and HR always does everything in their power to make sure employees are happy.

Cons

We are growing very quickly, which is great, but I think that some managers aren't getting the guidance they need to be good leaders for the rest of us. The pay could also be better, but it's much better than most places pay college students.

Working at MSUFCU has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The work is fast-paced, innovative, and always evolving which keeps every day exciting. Leadership is forward thinking and truly invests in employees through AMAZING benefits, education and growth opportunities, and a strong focus on work-life balance. Having an onsite cafe at the headquarters, a workout facility and coworkers who genuinely feel like family make it an even better place to work. I hope to retire from here as it's the best job that I've had.

Amazing co workers, great benefits, inclusive workplace for those with disabilities

Cons

You will only have a good experience if you get into specific areas of the credit union. Other places will burn you out and ruin your mental health completely no matter how much you communicate with management. Pay raises are small and it is almost impossible to get a raise outside of the yearly. And getting a promotion is even more difficult.
