Middle management was horrible and lead me to leaving a great company. Managers had nothing positive to say, they were always looking over your shoulder and getting after you when you were doing what you were told. Management did not know the basics of the position and would often reach out to ask questions or for the team to do their responsibilities. They would not take escalated calls and constantly put situations back on you by using "ownership" as a means of progression. No room for growth. Toxic team environment due to frustration with the insane amount of work and management. Constant call ins. Overall, the fraud department was not a healthy place to work.

Working at MSUFCU has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The work is fast-paced, innovative, and always evolving which keeps every day exciting. Leadership is forward thinking and truly invests in employees through AMAZING benefits, education and growth opportunities, and a strong focus on work-life balance. Having an onsite cafe at the headquarters, a workout facility and coworkers who genuinely feel like family make it an even better place to work. I hope to retire from here as it's the best job that I've had.

Amazing co workers, great benefits, inclusive workplace for those with disabilities

Cons

You will only have a good experience if you get into specific areas of the credit union. Other places will burn you out and ruin your mental health completely no matter how much you communicate with management. Pay raises are small and it is almost impossible to get a raise outside of the yearly. And getting a promotion is even more difficult.
