Pros

Literally none. Run away. Run.

Cons

-Management has no clear path of what they want collectively so you will spend your time miserable, confused, and getting yelled at by three different people. -The culture is pure red flags. They expect you to work off the clock and give you no time to learn your job. It's sink or swim, and based on the quick turn over and the fact that none of the recruiters have been there for more than a year will tell you the company is run by a team of idiots. -They tell you your job is a recruiter and then magically you also need to sell their company to a million companies. -You will get yelled at, cussed at, treated worse than an offender in a prison and leave with no dignity or get fired for no reason. -If you don't make their recruitment goals aka your sales for the company, you will get talked down to at a meeting with your peers watching and joining in. -They recruit for about a hundred companies doing different things so if you don't have a background recruiting CLD drivers, Mechanics, Oilfield, Waterwells, jacks of all trades, etc.., this is not the job for you. -There is no work life balance allowed. If you work there, your personal phone becomes your way to communicate with applicants. Neve mind the consequences. -If you take a lunch -that they promise you're supposed to get- you neglect your team. -You are connected to a headset and are expected to answer phones all day. Even if you're busy or trying to learn about the hiring companies, the ringing is nonstop. -They don't treat you well. They say they are like a family and have an office mom and an office dog. They talk crap about each other. They compete for money and don't care if they steal a client from you. If you go in half an hour early and stay half an hour late, you hear all the negative things about everyone. -You are required to keep your office door open. They want to micromanage you in every way possible.

We have taken your above review into consideration and realize the misaligned expectations on both sides of your employment. We understand that this is a difficult job and we have high expectations of our recruiters and employees across the board. These expectations are reflective of highly competitive and demanding market conditions in the transportation and supply chain industry, which we are proud to meet despite challenges. Our clients have depended on our continued results-driven recruiting practices for more than 35 years and we will continue to maintain a high standard of achievement in order to fulfill our contracts. One thing we will directly contest is your assessment of your training and treatment from management. The three managers you mention contain a vast amount of industry expertise and years of experience that allow for a fast-track of knowledge to be obtained by motivated new recruiters. While we are tough, we are fair and have had huge success with our current recruiting team. The assumption that we don’t have any recruiters that have been with our company for more than a year is simply untrue. While feedback is always welcome and we will continue to assess that feedback to improve our processes, we do not appreciate being slandered on a public platform. We hire recruiters based on the qualifications and skills we can deduce from an interview (such as your extensive experience which you promoted several times in the interview process including high volume transportation recruiting), but not everyone is the right fit for our company. Better to part ways amicably and professionally early – we hold no ill will and wish you success in your job search.
