Pros
Nice committed long time employees trying to do the best for libraries
Cons
Poor leadership are all about taking their very large incentive pay and talking down to the rank and file. The CEO sits in his fireplace office and tells everyone they should like the open office space he designed. Openly mocks employees who don't blindly follow him and works on his next book or podcast to build his personal brand. Rest of executive mgt team uses their corporate cards as their own piggy bank, charging personal expenses. They don't have expertise to lead but they got there by being friends of Skip and being yes men/women. CFO doesn't live in Columbus but wants everyone else to. Most of the financials aren't shared and it is borderline unethical. They keep the 990 under lock and key but check out glassdoor as they eventually will have it if you want to see the compensations of some of these people.
