Pros

My team, my clients, and the professional relationships I built through working with other service providers.

Cons

Employees are overworked, not compensated fairly and often have to work off the clock to meet supervisor demands yet overtime is constantly denied and workers are often reprimanded for working off the clock. The lack of competent, effective, or supportive leadership is embarrassing and causes further stress on already stressed out workers. Hr is useless and will tell the name of a worker who filed a complaint to the very person the complaint was filed about triggering retaliation that is then ignored. One Hope United struggles with appropriately recognizing and effectively addressing the needs of their workers and the communities they serve to ensure success. The mission statement and goals are mainly upheld by the case managers as upper management often demonstrates that their focus is on the bottom dollar, keeping county contracts, and maintaining appearances. There is a disgraceful level of incompetence and lack of accountability by those in a leadership role. High turnover rates are almost constant due to the pressure placed by leadership onto the workers, ineffective leadership, and high case loads. Overall the agency has lost touch with the ever evolving world of community based services, the needs of the communities it serves, it's mission statement, and the entire purpose of social services.

Pros

Option to file a red flag report.

Cons

Unstable environment. Absent leadership ignores duties, targets staff, creates high turnover, and risks safety.
