Pros
It is a good place to work, and the company has focused on women empowerment. Also the working environment is excellent. The company has rich polices favoring the employees to work for 37.5 hours i.e. 5 days week, frequent lunch and dinner treats.Facility here in Goa is maintained very well keeping the international standards.
Cons
Keeping all the pros in mind, it is disheartening to say that the Goa plant deflects from global policy made by the Optel Organization. Unfair means adapted for salary increment / yearly appraisal / salary structure / hidden components which are introduced suddenly and deducted without any explanation or intimation to the employees. Here you cannot expect to revise your salary structure even after switching your title, if you are not in the good books of the senior authorities. Politics is everywhere in the corporate world, but here politics is to the extreme level in addition to the ineligible reporting supervisors who themselves doesn’t know anything about the company product.
