Pros

Dynamic workplace with a lot of freedom. Try to have a positive impact on society.

Cons

Unstable structure and work teams. Some level of greenwashing despite some actual efforts. Favoritism towards certain employees. Lack of knowledge from top management about some of the team's expertise and tasks. Customers come before the employees. Low salaries compared to similar roles in similar companies. An obvious effort to try and control the messages despites stating being open to employees input and criticism. CEO to be contradicted at your own risks.

Thanks for the comments, will look to improve as always. It is a daily effort to on-board our governance and it always been the culture I wanted to have, and part of our value. I intend to do more efforts to leverage our governance team to be part of the strategic orientation of our 3 business units. If you want to be heard, if you want to become a manager, you need to lead and take on the challenge to express yourself. If you deeply believe in your opinion, go ahead, express them, come talk to me if it does not go through. I am not an operator, so I need leaders to run the business.. not followers and people without opinion.

Thanks for the advice, appreciate it. In fact, I don't run the company, it is operated by a strong VP and directors level. I am a visionary, not an operator, but I can get hand's on for a while as I am great in finding solutions. Never hire me as a General Manager !! After 35 years leading OPTEL, I know my strength and weakness. To explain the up-down, see answer to other comments... I am very strong and confident on the vision I build.. that what drive me every morning, that why I have invested over $80M in preparing the future that is kicking off now! I love what I do and I love the team I am working with. Let's go, work together to achieve great things.. and accept to fail from time to time..
