Pros
Pay is decent depending on your living style, Most of the employees are nice and helpful. If you are single and like hard work and to travel this job would be perfect for you. If your married and have kids it will be really rough.
Cons
Lots of travel which is stated, but be prepared to work 6 straight days a week during training period for a Forman. No per diem if your looking for that your looking at the wrong company. Be prepared to drive your own vehicle and put lots of miles including your own fuel (my Forman told me we didn’t get reimbursed for fuel spent, this could be different with other Forman’s) during training also. Once you go to “Forman training” in Georgia, be prepared for a month away from home. Limited to a 20 mile radius using company vehicle if you fly to training. The town has a limited source of entertainment and food choices. Just beware your not actually staying near Atlanta it’s an hour away from Omose headquarters. Class training is a nutshell one day in class learning and then 3-4 days of field work and then back in the class room to take a test that you only went over 1/4 of the information you needed to know. They over hire Forman trainees and they drop them like flys during the training. Class will only have possibly 5-15 Forman make it past class then out to the field for 2 weeks of showing what you learn which they let go about half of the Forman that make it. The “Forman bonus” is evaluated every 6 months so don’t expect to make high money all year long unless you get a solid crew that works hard. So just be aware it’s not the dream job and pay you will expect. Not bashing the company just don’t want people getting their hopes up. The video you watch on the website definitely talks this job up and makes it seem something special. So just beware and do your homework.
