Pros
+ Very structured company compared to basically every other imaging center out there + Don’t require you doing to job of multiple people like many other imaging companies + Would usually have available many full time positions + Pay is standard and baseline, not competitive + It’s a private company, if you value that.
Cons
+ Management always knows more about the problem regardless if your facing it directly + Patients do not get turnt away for threatening or verbally abusing staff + Patients are taken past their appointment time which causes major delays over 1hr long sometimes + Issues with double booking and operating past normal hours of the business are overlooked for the sake of profit + Corporate cares more about how you advertise the company (eg. cheap face mask with RadNet logo), instead of allowing you to wear a proper I95 for your protection + Employees would bribe patients for positive online reviews because they know cooperate cares deeply about it, and use those same online platforms (Google Reviews) to undermine other coworkers + Management is unapproachable when it comes to concerns and value intimidating employees to assert social control!!! + I’ve been told by others that the only good thing this company offers was cross training into other modalities (X-ray, CT, MR etc) as “they’d get rid of you for next to nothing”. Your employment here is at will in every sense of the word. + I’ve seen and heard of non imaging techs scanning MRI patients with the aid of distant online support because management felt that X-ray techs were too entitled to learn MRI instead of Mammo for which there are vacancies. + Also, no pay increases, and standard clinic benefits.
