Pros

-Experience in Aviation Industry -Occasional free lunch

Cons

-Favoritism, gossip runs rampant, inappropriate jokes everywhere, even from management -Felt unwelcome from day one -Bullying is allowed by HR -Management relies on admins and does not compensate for the hard work. Management takes personal calls, takes 1+ hour lunches, walks around office having casual conversations, watches movies /shows daily and online shops. When mentioned, I was brushed off, interrupted and GASLIT. -Moving target to keep me working hard for little money. Once assistance was requested, I was retaliated against (my breaks were to be taken away, my remote Fridays were no longer a privilege, and I had to come into work 1 hour earlier). Expressed that this job was wearing me down and I felt unappreciated. They encouraged me to quit. Never in my life have I experienced such a cruel working environment.

Pros

Cool office, interesting industry, Wednesday lunch

Cons

Incredibly unprofessional - bad mouthing employees in front of others, nonstop gossip, moving goal posts. Zero training - they're "too busy" to train, expect full industry knowledge within months, "we love when you ask questions", gets annoyed when you ask questions Both their recruiter, and the management lied about the position, work life balance (spoiler there is none), insane turnover (7 in 2025 alone), growth opportunity (yes, you guessed it there was zero) In my 20 years working professionally, this was the worst work environment. If a recruiter tells you about a Staff Accountant position in aviation, politely decline and ask for a new recruiter.
