A bit like high school in a lot of aspects. Lots of inner-office romancing and sexual tension - to the point that you felt uncomfortable being around certain teams. I saw a new employee get fired for referring to a He as She, and based off of my impression of the screenshot - he wasn't trying to be a jerk, he truly just didn't know any better. Also, there was no communication between customer service and anyone else in the company. Customers would have legitimate complaints about the products and our line was "Sure, I'll absolutely forward that to Development." But we had absolutely no access to Development. Reps simply got dismissed when forwarding this info to the supervisors.
