Pros
- There's a sense of community within different teams - Food (given the company size): Happy hours on Friday; Biweekly lunches (wish they were weekly); Bagel Thursdays - People do seem to care - Location: easily accessible in the heart of Boston; gym and showers in the basement; bike storage is neat
Cons
- If your team is only you and your boss or something, it's an upward battle to establish rapport with others - Physical layout of the product/engineering/tech side vs. the marketing side hinders the ability to network and know the other side of the company - Onboarding process is finicky and depends on the team - HR benefits are somewhat unclear (commuter pass is annoying as it needs to be pre-charged)
