Pros

The mission is meaningful, and I had the opportunity to work with many talented, hardworking colleagues who genuinely cared about improving mental healthcare.

Cons

My experience was that the company culture prioritized internal politics over transparency, trust, and employee development. There was very little sense of psychological safety, and many employees appeared to operate under the belief that their jobs were constantly at risk. Rather than fostering collaboration and long-term growth, the environment often felt driven by fear and uncertainty. Turnover was consistently high, and it was difficult to ignore how frequently talented employees left or were replaced. The level of instability made it challenging to build trust, invest in long-term relationships, or feel confident about career growth within the company. From my perspective, these cultural issues did not appear isolated to individual managers. They felt systemic and were reflected in leadership decisions and the broader organizational environment. Whether intentional or not, the tone set by senior leadership had a significant impact on how teams operated and how employees experienced the workplace. Performance management often lacked transparency and consistency. Expectations shifted, feedback could feel subjective, and it was difficult to understand what success actually looked like. That uncertainty contributed to an environment where many people seemed focused on avoiding mistakes rather than doing their best work. I would strongly encourage prospective employees to speak with multiple current and former employees before joining to understand whether this type of culture aligns with what they are looking for in an employer.

Pros

The company's products help people in meaningful ways

Cons

Company is very poorly misled. There isn't a real vision or culture. In general, ways of working here are scattered and immature. We have a new SDLC every 10 months or so. Constant re-orgs and changes in leadership cause instability. Teams and ICs are re-allocated every 3–6 months. Priorities are constantly shifting. "Science will win" except when it comes to evaluating AI's place in our product. Sudden AI focus despite not having a real vision for how it aligns with our mission. Leaders who report directly to the CEO often cycle out every year or so. There seems to be very little awareness or ownership that leaders aren't set up for success. The company says it cares about employee "thriving" but promotes leaders with very poor scores. It seems to be more of a vanity metric/tool to fire people.
