Pros
- Small enough to recognize everyone's faces, but also big enough (and growing quickly) so that you're always meeting new people. - Great benefits: free ORCA card, generous PTO plan, education tuition reimbursement. - Free Lunches every Monday, kitchens stocked full with sodas/drinks/coffee/snacks/fruit. Monthly Happy Hours with the whole company (great to see everyone and talk to new employees). - Envestnet is making many acquisitions and is growing the parent company quite a bit. Very exciting to be at the forefront of our industry. -Personally, my manager is very quick to give me constructive feedback and is immensely encouraging when sh!t is hitting the fan. Nice to know I have people in my corner looking out for me. -Stuart was amazing, he really cared for us and the company. Hate to see him move on, but also really happy to have gotten to know him and see his footprint.
Cons
- Not really any policy in place, or anyone holding your hand. Could be seen as a pro or a con, but most employees feel as though the first few weeks of onboarding is just shooting from the hip. - Executives aren't necessarily red taped for anyone to interact with, but sometimes it feels like that. Hard to get to know your coworkers/managers because of that. - Not as many women in the developer or technology side of the company. Wish there was more diversity or representation of underrepresented minorities.
