Pros

- You will work with some of the nicest people around and make great friends - Your team will be supportive and help you find the answers you need - You can rely on your team members to vent when dealing with difficult customers - You will not feel alone when you are struggling, your team will be there for you - Management will not bother you as long as you hit your upsell goal - Remote/ WFH culture - Health benefits were pretty good with Cigna, but premiums doubled for open enrollment for 2023 coverage - This is an okay first job if you're right out of college but don't stay longer than 6-8 months unless you want your mental health to suffer, great resume builder though.

Cons

- PatientPop was already struggling before the merger with Kareo, but after Dan took over it went straight downhill. They had massive layoffs in December, cutting about 20% of the company and they are running on a skeleton crew. Everyone has 3x the workload and they're completely burnt out. Even top executives weren't safe from the layoffs and a lot of big names in the company were let go. - Customer Success at this company is a joke, you're doing the job of 5 different departments and cleaning up the mess Sales created after they lie to customers to get them signed on. - Majority of the time you will be dealing with angry customers that want to cancel because Sales promised features that we do not have. Customers blow up on you once they realize they're stuck in a contract. - CS is severely underpaid, you can make almost double else where for less work and less stress. The only reason people stay is to build their resume and great coworkers. Turn over in CS is high, most leave after 6 months-1yr once they realize what a sh*t show it is here. - Management started to throw new initiatives on us, disguised as trainings but it was actually more work which doubled our work load. Everyone's metrics started to suffer and they still expected us to reach quota while doing double the work. They offered laughable spiffs as incentives for doing extra work but anyone will tell you they could care less about the money and would give anything to be less stressed. - The software itself is absolutely subpar, the company needs to focus on fixing the current product rather than selling empty promises to customers. - The quality of websites has greatly gone down since there aren't enough web designers or IMs and they have to churn things out fast which compromises on quality. - Customer support quality has gone down immensely since switching over to Costa Rica and now it's taking weeks, almost a month to get simple support tickets done. The customer support team in Costa Rica is super nice, but it's management's fault that mediocre work is being done, they need to invest in training them better.
