Cons

Where to begin? (I will say when I joined this company it was actually a really nice place to work, but nosedived into a place that cared about profits and image over customers, guest experience, and employee well-being) The work environment is toxic. There is this high school mindset with management and upper management. Very Mean Girls. They gossip about employees constantly. If they decide they don't like you then your time there will be miserable. And if they do like you, then you can never have even one bad day or that will move you to the bad list. Managers claim to be there for you, but they have trouble realizing that you have a life outside of the company and that you are human beings. They expect you to dedicate your life to the company (who is paying you so poorly it's laughable). Those managers who try and advocate for their employees are all bullied into leaving the company. Their anti-union attitude is disgraceful. If they even smell an inkling of unionization, they squash it and blast anti-union propaganda. They know if the company unionizes they won't be able to exploit employees the way they've been doing for years. I watched several departments get outsourced to a countries where they can pay them dirt and work them ragged. If your department doesn't get outsourced, it'll probably get automated. There were a number of layoffs that happened while I was with this company. All of them were conducted poorly, in a hunger games style fashion. They need to make you afraid to lose your job so you'll accept less than the bare minimum from them. The benefits aren't what they claim to be either. "unlimited PTO" but if you use what they determine is "too much" of the "unlimited" PTO they offer, they'll call you into a meeting and yell at you and degrade you, even if your PTO was approved by your manager. I was afraid to use my PTO while I worked there. I was also afraid to take my sick time, even if I was sick. They made you afraid to have a work/life balance. The health insurance was once great, but the company decided they were paying too much for health insurance and switched to a plan so pitiful, that you're better not having health insurance at all. The hybrid work is nice, but if you're not in the office you're on the bad list. They want you in the office so they can micromanage you. They will bully you into coming into the office. They'll tempt you with free lunches. But the office environment is awful. They do not trust that you're actually doing the work you're paid to do. And if you actually need your manager's help?? GOOD LUCK. They usually leave you to figure it out and press you to be more "independent" so they don't have to deal with the issues going on. Lastly, the CEO is honestly pretty dull. He makes poor investment choices and when they don't succeed, another layoff happens. He's so AI crazy and so incredibly cheap that if he could only use AI, he would. He doesn't want to pay people. He wants to squeeze everyone that works there for all their worth and then discard them when he's done with them. He's also so completely out of touch. He boasts record profits but refuses to pay workers a living wage. Several people I knew had to work another 2-3 jobs just to afford rent in New York City. How can a multi-million dollar company claim they have no money to pay their workers? Overall, it is an incredibly toxic environment where managers will put you down and degrade you so they can exploit you and pay you pennies. It will seem nice at first!!! Trust me, it will. But this company is going DOWNHILL. I'd be surprised if it lasts another 5 years.

Pros

There is nothing meaningful to highlight. The only thing present is an overwhelming amount of work that never seems to end.

Cons

• Work is repeatedly pushed as urgent at the last possible moment, forcing constant rushing and overtime • Employees are regularly pushed into all night work just to meet unrealistic deadlines • What should be occasional urgency has become a constant pattern that leads to exhaustion and burnout • Ongoing pressure and instability have made employee departures frequent and routine • High turnover has become a normal outcome due to sustained workload pressure
