CEO Claire Mooney was great , easy to talk to, never talked down to any employee no matter what their position was. Great Senior Management Team. Overall friendly dedicated staff. Great pay and benefits. We were a profitable part of towerhealth. No micro management by Claire. Personally my food service team was outstanding, they were patient dedicated. And did whatever it took to get it done even though we were short staffed, my dietitian rocked.
Cons
Corporate CEO, Sue, P. didn't give a darn about people, just profits. Short staffed constantly, old outdated pos for cafe- still had dial up for credit cards until 2021. Closed leaving community without a hospital , I wonder how many of the local residents died enroute to the closest hospital now a 30 minute ambulance ride. And leaving over 300 employees jobless, who couldn't just up and move to another city. HR that didn't support management. Corporate Leadership at Reading was useless they didn't understand the distinct differences in demographics and cultures of the areas where they purchased hospitals... not everything that worked at Reading (the mothership) would work in some small rural areas.... while they preached diversity. They didn't understand the diversity of the communities they serviced.
