Pros

There aren't many good things about teaching anymore. I feel sorry for the children who don't get to experience learning as being fun. Teachers aren't able to have fun with learning...they get reprimanded.

Cons

Working with all women is tough. You will be safe if you know the right people. The evaluations are a joke. Teaching isn't the job anymore...it's passing the evaluations.

Salary pay- option to spread year round.

Cons

Worst district I have worked for. Admin doesn’t trust the teachers and micro manages everything. No lunch breaks, unpaid snow days if you don’t use your own PTO time. Have to find your own coverage for sick days.
