Just Another Corporate Monster (A Pig Wearing Lipstick) - Service Sales Representative Vertiv Employee Review

No sales goals/quotas are given until end of Q2 / early Q3 of the calendar year in question. Sales has to guess when compensation will be paid out. Underpaid sales staff, overpaid execs, same old game. Bad decisions stacked on top of more bad decisions. Perks of working for the corporate machine slowly stripped away, micromanaging in all the wrong areas to compensate for the bad business decisions over and over again. Some of us got out on our own terms but others were not so fortunate. The bait and switch some newer people were sold upon being hired is one of the most sad things I saw happen there. For me I was feeling insecure every day, just wondering when the other shoe will drop from the sky... when will more be stripped away? What's next? More furloughs? More layoffs? It started to hit me that I needed to leave when the mandatory return to office with no hybrid option was enforced. From there, HR started performing weekly badge scan audits. (That was my breaking point - I am not 12!) Don't be fooled, Vertiv is just another corporate monster in sheep's clothing.
