A whole new management team was brought it. Out with old in with the new. This has resulted in lots of positive changes, cultural shift and better investment in the people. Lots of active work working on the business now. There are a lot of long tenured employees here. They deserve a medal for sticking it our years prior. Products are cool. Great insurance.

Still has remnants of the "old school" mentality. Little to no flexibility with schedule. Tend to micromanage people's comes and goings regardless of work quality and output. Doesn't promote trust. Low vacation, no sick time.

You don't really need to be intelligent to aquire a job you are completely unqualified for, so long as you can talk and appease "senior leadership".

Pay is sub par, most employees are underpaid, and under appreciated. Management has no clue what goes on out on the shop floor, but they like to think they do. "Bodies" is a common term when referring to plant employees, that's nice. Office employees are treated much much, better than the plant employees. Almost like human adults, but not quite. Micromanagment is rampant, especially for those who wind up on "the list". (A coveted document which contains names of people that will at some point be terminated) Sometimes for reasons that seem to be legitimate, most times for a fabricated, or exaggerated reason that fits their narrative. The "VP" is joke, doesn't even seem human really, and his Op manager is too concerned with his past due report spreadsheet to worry about anything else, you know, like stuff that matters. Don't speak your mind or bring suggestions to the table, even if you're more than qualified to do so, that just gets a target painted on your back, and added to "the list". I can see how this sounds like a disgruntled employee bashing but being perfectly honest, I have no ill wishes for anyone there, simply calling it like I saw it. My perspective will vary from that of others, but I can think about a dozen former/current employees who would absolutely back this up. The place just slowly sucks the fire out of you. I cannot put it into words how relieved I no longer work there. My only regret is not leaving sooner. I would not recommend a longterm career at this business. Short term, sure but have a contingency plan ready.
